Completely unexpected find: everyone in our party of 4 foodies was surprised and amazed at our meals (we were just stopping by the town to stretch our legs and perhaps get lunch on the way toward Gibraltar from Lisbon on a road trip). Pictured is my Cataplana de Marisco, in absolute Michelin-star style, which was divine. Just... look at it, and imagine how it tastes, and it's as good as you'd imagine. Location was perfect, service was impeccable, even though they originally claimed that the kitchen was understaffed that day and might take 30min for our food to come out (it came out in maybe 15-20, and they brought our drinks and bread + olive oil early, but even if they had not, this is a reasonable time).
We both had the Cataplana - huge portions, very fresh and delicious. The service was attentive and some good recommendations on wine. Would definitely eat here again!
We chose this restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday and it was a great choice. Food delicious and portions so big, very attentive staff and cosy atmosphere. Location - couldn’t be better. The bar tenders made this night by the cocktail show for us. Great place to come again to
Tell us what you ordered and what it cost. Two or three sentences about one dish is more useful to the next person than a star rating.
